I liked the way you played this hand. On the river its close weather to raise or just call. I think this would just depend on the player in question. The more passive opponent I would just call and the more agro they are I would raise.

I think I will call this river more often than not. Such river donks usually mean he improved. And when he improved, he has a better hand than yours. The only case where I will raise the river is when I have a specific read that he donks hand like top pair.

Ask yourself this question. How often will he have a flush or K9, compared to just top pair?

This has to be a call against 90% of opponents. You are giving him 2:1, so you have to be best 67% of the time. I really don't see it. I could almost raise-fold against some players, but I think I'm calling the vast majority of the time here.

Your aggression pf and flop means that most opponents are leading the river only with a better hand or as a bluff. You make nothing by raising a bluff and lose more by raising a better hand. Of course, the odd idiot flips T9 or whatever, and then you feel stupid, but this would usually be a call for me, esp. at FR.

No need to raise the river. He's taking stab at you in ca.e you played AQ that way, or he has you beat.
