I just won a seat in the EPT Berlin main event €5000+300 buy in, in a few weeks time!!!!

I went to the casino on Thursday and won €620 in the 2/2 cash game. The satellite tonight was €660 buy in, so I went for it.

41 runners. 4 seats and 5-9 got their money back.

It lasted 9 hours and at the end was quite nerve racking.

I went into the final table of ten, 2nd in chips. The tournament was turning into a crapshoot at that point, but people were still making standard raises and flatting with 7-9bbs. With the exception of one very good player, the standard was terrible.

I think I only played three hands at the final table as I was completely card dead. I picked a few good spots to resteal and hung on for dear life, hoping people made stupid mistakes. Thankfully this proved to be the case. Six handed everyone was pretty even, I stuck around and I SHIPPED THE SEAT

So I'm playing 1a on Tuesday 5 April. I hope I can do better than my min cash last year.

The only sad part is that as I didn't buy in through Stars, I won't be able to go the party and hang out with Boris Becker.
