Came 6th in the Sunday Million

Postby philhux » Oct 17 2011

Finished 6th in the sunday Million for $43,685.20 out of 7046 runners. Came into the final table in 6th place and it played out quite standard for me. Final hand I restole with a7 from the sb and ran into AK in the BB. 7 on the flop, K on the turn! I was elated for 0.3 seconds. As soon as I busted they discussed a deal but Andrew Chen is left, so not sure they will deal.

My second biggest cash ever, but left wondering WHAT MIGHT HAVE BEEN!

"PokerStars Tournament #542020010, No Limit Hold'em
Buy-In: $200.00/$15.00 USD
7046 players
Total Prize Pool: $1409200.00 USD
Tournament started 2011/10/16 14:30:00 ET

That's a tremendous result. I know that it feels like kissing your sister at the moment, but its still great stuff.

Amazing score Philhux. Plus it was in the real Sunday Mirrion rather than the duplicate. Over $43k should come in handy.

I'm starting to think that this philhux fella may be an above average player...

Great score! Good to see someone is still flying the flag for ITH.

Thanks fellas.

I keep trying to quit tournaments but it is proving quite difficult.

I think the replay will be on the stars client from tonight /tomorrow. I'm looking forward to watching the play with holecards shown.

I'm not sure I had any interesting or marginal spots on the final table, but I'd still like to see.

They do this Sunday Million highlights show on Stars, so I get the chance for David Tuchman to get overexcited about my pain and misery. It's a bad table draw as I'm sad not to get the master Nick Wealthall commentating on my play.

Great stuff - why would you want to give up tournaments with a result like this?
