Raiseandfold 40% Rakeback

Postby Hotpizza » Apr 21 2010

I received an e-mail from raiseandfold offering 40% rakeback and a 100% initial deposit bonus. Appears they are on the Everleaf network which isn't all that big but a viable option.

Anyone have any experience with them? I registered an account and haven't deposited as of yet but I think I am going to give them a try. It looks like a promising up and coming room and I have searched for any negative type posts or news and have only found positive comments.

I don't post very often and I am not sure if I am supposed to post a link or not to their site for reference.

So I'll hold off on doing that.

Thanks for the opportunity to post about rooms, it's refreshing to see people can actually voice their thoughts good and bad and get some feedback.

No experience on raiseandfold, but I have played about 10,000 hands on Everleaf via 2 other rooms.

The interface is average. You can resize tables, change position at the table, take notes on players, use a 4 color deck, edit which chat displays and things of that nature. Standard features, nothing special.

Traffic is very low, but improving. There is virtually ZERO limit poker available. You can sometimes find a low limit PLO game, but not always. For cash you are pretty much playing .50/1 and below 6 max. There are sometimes full ring games at .01/.02 and .05/.10. They offer dollar and euro tables.

The quality of play is typically quite bad - which is my favorite part of playing there.

Cashiering is an issue for Americans. Looks like raiseandfold takes PIC club as their US-friendly option.

Let us know how it goes if you decide to play there.
Peace,
Bull

bullajami thanks for your reply. I did end up depositing today via credit card, I don't have a pic club account but will look into that. I received a generic type welcome message and later in the day I got a personal message from the manager himself which had a lot more detail.

Appears there are a lot of european players and they are certainly not slot machines, they are very loose in their play. You were spot on about the quality of players they aren't very good. It looks like they watch a lot dwan or espn poker bad beats and play them all the time. This is all good of course.

I didn't see any fixed games going and a bunch of 1/2 NL and some people wanting to play heads up for a bunch of different levels all the way to 20/40 NL in euros. I guess that has to be about a 25/50 game in dollars.

I did so so on the tables so far, and I guess that's where the rake coming back will help itself. I'm generally a 25/50 cent player and will venture upwards if the stack grows but for now going to grind a bit, see how much rake i get back and will take it from there. Can't be greedy as I need to target those weak players.

Thanks again for replying, 10,000 hands is a lot, I can't imagine what the rake back would be for all those hands : )

10,000 hands is really not very much on the big scheme of things

Stop now, while I still have some pride and don't feel like dropping the ban hammer. It's a decent network for low level NL.
Peace,

Damien,

I guess you're right 10,000 hands in the scope of things really isn't that big. A couple weeks worth of hands for me I suppose.

Thanks for the welcome.

Bull I must've missed something, did I offend you by the 10,000 hands remark, sorry if I did. Just sounds like a lot when you see it and dont' thik about the amount you are playing.
