Hmmm, looks like this will be my next bonus chasing endeavor. I like the fact that it's USA friendly since that increases the fish pool.

One thing I do not like is that the rake for LHE heads-up is capped at $1. On Full Tilt (and Stars too I think), this is capped at $0.50. I think for you will essentially pay double in rake when you play $5/$10 heads-up on Cake Poker. (Heads-up, for a pot over $40, you will pay $0.50 rake on FT while you pay $1 on Cake Poker.) I think I will simply sit out when the game becomes heads-up and I don't think I will ever start a new table there. Any chance they are going to change this? Kinda hard to get games started when nobody wants to play heads-up.

Also, how's the traffic at $3/$6 and $5/$10? (Full ring? 6-max?) Are there any PLO games going on?

I'm sure it's capped at $1 for 0.5/1 and 1/2 games on Stars.

Yes, but you need a 10BB pot to reach that cap. Most pots heads-up will be smaller. At $5/$10, you need a 4BB pot to reach the cap, which happens frequently. At Stars and Cake Poker, the rake is capped at $1 while at Full Tilt, this cap is just $0.50. When you play $5/$10 heads-up, many pots will be over 4BB which means that on FT, you pay much less rake.

Bottom line, if you want to play heads-up. Play at Full Tilt.

Have been thinking about joining Cake for a while. I installed the software this afternoon only to find that there are no 50c/$1 6Max LHE tables. One of the reasons I was checking it out as the rake is killing me at 6max but I don't think I'm good enough to play 1/2 yet. I might have to stay at FT for a while until I'm a bit better at .50/1.
I'm assuming that I'll still be able to sign up for the rakeback if I register at a later date if I keep the s/w on my PC for now.
