definition of a raked hand at Party PokerIf you put 500$ you get 100$. So you have to play 500 raked hands. What is the definition of a raked hand? Is there a minimum rake? or it is every hands.
Any hand in which you were dealt cards and a minimum of $.50 is taken from the pot is a raked hand. Party for instance has .50/1.00 as its lowest tables and it rakes $.50 when the pot hits $5. I'd say about 75% of the hands at a juicy table will be raked.
Any hand where a rake is collected. They have a table somewhere that shows the structure. For example at .50/1 and 1/2 there is no rake if the pot is less that $5. So at those levels any pot that hits $5 or higher is raked and counts toward the total. In real life this happens for approximately 2/3 of .50/1 hands and 3/4 of 1/2 hands.
EDIT: jinx!!! Oh yeah, the $5 has to be after everybody calls. If the pot is $4.50 after the turn and you bet the river and everybody else folds, it still counts as a $4.50 pot even though you put out an extra bet.
They do at Pacific. They even did that in NL the last time I played there. I went all in on the turn and ended up LOSING money when everyone folded. They raked 5% of my ENTIRE STACK!
