starting hands

Postby johnnychances » May 20 2009

i'm looking for maybe a site or something which shows starting hands charts.
ie the top 5% of starting hands
then the top 10%, 15%, 20% , 25% etc
i want to be able to print these out and it will give me a better idea of opponents starting hand rages when i compare it to their VPIP..
anyone got any ideas..or should i stop bein lazy and do it myself..lol

Total stats by card are here. Sort by EV and split em up how you like.

There is no top % of starting hands. Hands go up/down in value based on opponents, stack sizes, position blah blah blah

Pokerstove will give you a range according to "top x%" according to some criterion (probably 7-card equity heads-up against a random hand, but I'm not sure). But there is of course no guarantee that an x% VPIP player is actually playing this range. As blah says it depends on a number of factors.

IIRC there's a little slider under the grid of hands on the "preflop" screen which you can move from 0% to 100% and get a corresponding range.

Or you can just type in the % that you are looking for as well.

LOCATING SNG STARTING HANDS CHART PROBLEM SOLVED

Postby ROBINHOOD332 » Mar 05 2010

You asked for something shich shows starting hands charts.

1) Type in URL www.coinflippoker.com/startinghands.htm (hit enter )

Stages of the Tournament will depend on (T) (U) and standard game. The Divisions grouping of the blinds determine which stage your in, Early, Middle, and late.

2) Go down the menu selection on the left hand side of the swcreen and click on and review Sit and Go Strategy and Shorthanded Strategy and Heads Up Poker.

These various selections provide all the various parameters that have to be Considered in 6 SEAT SNG NL TH POKER as how to play what , when, where and how and etc... etc

I just won at Ultimate Bet two 6 Seated SNG'S ( U ) ULTRA TURBO $1 & $2 tbls
and came in first place in both games.

Anyway.... This has help my confidence having a Starting base to work from

Hope this helps
