Help controlling tables

Postby IH8Folding » Apr 19 2010

I've been playing a lot of Play Money SnGs. Recently I've been getting a lot of bad beats. I'll put someone all in with top two pair and they'll catch runner-runner flush or sets to beat me. It's been happening a lot this week, so I've been taking a lot of breaks from playing. But when I start again, how should I make sure my bets show that I have the dominant hand.

I usually raise the blinds to 3x or 3.5x depending on my hand and position with continuation bets ranging from 60% to 75%.

I'll assume you're being sarcastic. Even if Zenjo did put it a bit bluntly, he's right. Poker is only going to make sense when there is real money on the line. 1 play money chip equals a million play money chips. You can still play with play money if you enjoy it, but the game simply is not the same. Bet sizing does not apply to play money tables... you will never get anybody to respect your bet... what do they have to lose?
