Bullies

Postby Texann » Apr 23 2010

Is it wrong to play bullies differently? In other words, do you think you should just play your game the way you normally do and ignore them? I tend to call bullies more than I would other players, but it seems like I keep getting burned. For example, I'll see them show down several hands where they were bluffing to the river, but then when I decide to call them, they've got a real hand.

Any advice?

Can you clarify what you mean by a "bully"? Is it someone who is aggressively betting, or is it someone who is being rude and insulting?

In either case, you can't ignore anyone at the table. Properly reacting to each opponent's particular playing style should always be part of your strategy.
Peace,
Bull

Thanks for your reply. I was referring to aggressive playing, not talking.
