Poker Stars Hat!

Postby Harley54 » Feb 25 2004

UPS guy just showed up at my door.

I have a nice new Poker Stars Hat.

Thanks Matthew.

John

PS...anyone know what the big fat Poker Stars rubber band is for?
I'm sorry John, I don't remember.

I'm all excited to get home now.

Thoughts on the rubber band:

1. Strap it around your forehead.
2. Next time you find yourself chasing the backdoor, gutshot, low-end straight draw, pinch the band at the center of your forehead.
3. Pull back 6 inches.
4. Let go.

Geez BernardDogs. I just got a real uncomfortable feeling
there = position or location
their = possessive form of "they"
they're = contraction of "they are"

"a lot" is two words. "alot" is not a word.

You don't think it's a behavior modification aid?

I'm LOOKIN" GOOOOOOOOOOD in my new Poker Stars cap . Thanks Matthew and Poker Stars . I also appreciate the little white stretchey headband , but i can't wear it but a couple of hours at a time , it makes my head hurt . Must go practice my Chris Moneymaker stare and nostril flare . BTW , my wife says my Chris Moneymaker stare and Fred Savage victory dance are incompatible . Maybe topic for a poll.

I did not ask for nor receive a Poker Stars hat because my present employer has little regard for the people who run that show. (I don't know all the details. Let's just say that the online poker industry is very competitive!) More to the point I have found that wearing my new Poker School Online cap is very effective. Check it out:

Feb. 14: $55 rebuy NLHE - 5th place - $525 -- profit $395
Feb. 14: Limit HE / Limit O8 5/10 - lost $200
Feb. 16: Home Game: Dealer's Choice: profit: $45
Feb. 16: Home Game: 3 NLHE SitNGos: $140 -- profit: $80
Feb. 17: $55 NLHE - 1st place chop - $485 -- profit $430
Feb. 22: $55 NLHE - 16th place - $0 -- lost $55
Feb. 23: Home Game: Dealer's Choice: lost $23
Feb. 23: Home Game: 3 NLHE SitNGos: $70 -- profit $30
Feb. 24: $55 NLHE: 1st place chop - $440 -- profit $385

Up a cool $1,087!

In that case, I will let you know how my hat is next year.

I'm really curious about this damn rubber band. What is it for?

My only poker related guess is for holding a roll for live games. But...I'm still not sure about that. A nice money clip would be much more effective.

I got mine today too....rubber band and all.

It is obvious the rubber band is thrown in as a bonus because it was not attached to the hat in any way.

I have the explanation for the rubber band . Straight from Poker Stars . I Actually emailed them and asked . Within an hour the reply: It ain't a headband and we suspect that is what is causing them terrible headaches you describe. It is a Poker Stars moneyband to hold all your money.
