after reading this, I checked it out. I play the .50/1.00 level now, and there are 44 people in line! Man o man I wish I could sit down there!

I had quads 3 times today playing at those tables too.

Too anyone thats interested, they have raised the qualifications to quad 8's or better and the cheapest table you can play at is 2/4 so there are tons of people playing above their bankroll. Real juicy games.

Also they added like 50k and jackpot stands at 68k now.

I was going to sit at a Bad Beat table, but the pop-up message indicated that an additional 50 cents is being taken out of each pot to pay for the bonus. So I guess it's like paying for hand insurance??

Is such a long shot really worth it? Plus, if you hit a monster hand, does this mean you stop betting in hopes that everyone stays in and beats you?

A buddy of mine in an MTT had Quad aces beat..

Final table He is dealt AdAh. Flop AsKsAc Turn Rag river 10s.. he held the QJs.

He went all in after the turn and the guy called figuring his Flsuh draw and straight draw would be good enough.

He finished in 6th place.. it was on PS.. He was a close tie for chip leader.
he would have had more chips then any other 3 ppl at the table combined..

If you see him on Poker Stars ask about it.. He'll probably tell you to go F yourself.. he is still pretty sour even though it was like 6 months ago. His name is R0SSC0 (those are ZEROS not O's)

Jackpot is close to $120,000 now! Much higher than some of the big MTT pay for first place!

Just wanna note, hav played for about the last 2 hours, and am up about 70 BB. Yesterday I played for about an hour and was up around $100 at 1 2/4 table and 1 3/6 table.

It was Party Poker, not long ago. I sat at the table and see QQ on my first hand. Flop has two tens and a queen. I'm golden. I river the fourth queen and my lone opponent loses the hand......with his quad tens.

The bad beat jackpot was large that day. I was playing the first hand of an NL sit and go. D'oh!

with all the hands that are played on Party I'm suprised this doesnt hit every few hours, how much of the rake to they take for the Jackpot?
