Help getting Staked on Merge

Postby blah730235 » Oct 29 2011

I'd like to get back and grind some 25NL cash on Carbon poker. I've never actually done staking before some I'm hoping some of you guys that have been stakers/stakie can help me along here.

Unfortunately I don't have much of HEM database due to a hard drive failure, only about 30k hands from the beginning of the 2011 onward where i'm 4.8bb/100

PTR captured 60k from Jul 2009 to May 2011 @ 2.5bb/100. Which is kinda cool except it has be down at 50NL after rakeback which sucks cause i'm up actually up lifetime at 50NL.

Only references I would have would be ITHers I've done a few site transfers with.

#1: Anyone one at ITH still staking and interested?
#2: Given the current climate of US Poker, Merge's stuff, limited references, and a limited database of hands on myself etc should I bother looking for a stake on 2+2 or elsewhere? I suppose it couldn't hurt to try but i'd rather not waste my time if people think it's frivolous.
#3: What's a fair stake for me?

Personally I'm not interested in having any of my money on Merge as I've already been burnt with AP and Full Tilt, but I'm sure others might.

I believe a standard staking operation is a 50/50 split on profits with makeup. However I know a lot more about how it works for tournaments than for cash. With cash does it constantly roll on or do you asses and if necessary cash out some at the end of each month? I know there a lot of pitfalls, some of which we've seen on this board, so I'd recommend any agreement would be as simple and as clear as possible.

The staking community has reduced somewhat on 2+2 but is still active. I've sold a fair bit of action there, mainly to Russians. I'd happily write you a reference.

Same here. I lost money to them more than any Poker sites I have played with. I guess I will rest for a while playing in Merge.
Love it
