Carbon Poker

Postby Doc T River » Apr 01 2011

Does Carbon Poker take US players? I noticed that DragTheBar is offering free videos if you play at Carbon Poker and I went to Carbon's website, but I can't tell if they accept US players.

I think they are a skin of Lock Poker which does take USA players.

It's the Merge network. US players allowed.

I like the software but in my experience payouts to Neteller have been very slow. They have had several new skins lately inc Lock Poker, so I would say traffic is growing and it is perhaps a good value place to play if you can handle the cashout slowness. As opposed to Cake - which I would say is its closest comparison, which seems to be dying.

Tournament schedule pretty much sucks, but they have a good Sunday tournament I play sometimes.

It's a good offer on Drag The Bar actually - I like Dusty Schmidt, so I signed up for the offer myself to check out the site.

I've been playing on Lock for the last few months and have had several withdrawals. For US players they Fed Ex you a check. It takes about 4 weeks for the withdrawal to get "approved", but then it's only a few days for the check to arrive. I've had no problem cashing them.

I think it's a good place to play tourneys and the occasional SnG, though the SnG's sometimes take a while to fill. I really like the Guarnatee tourneys. They ususally get a field of around 200 players and the tourneys take about 4-5 hours. plenty of bad play and patience is generally rewarded.

I gave up on Cake. Too few players and SnG's never filled. I still have $90 dollars there that I'd love to get over to Lock.

Not necessarily. I've had several withdrawals from FTP in recent months... most of them in yet another fit of pique and a "never playing there again" kinda way.

Carbon/PDC Poker and Merge also have a lot of reloads, so if you are in the market to adding a couple more bucks in bonuses, you can find them there.

Yes it does. I am a US player myself. I think it started when they merged with other network.
