Interested in how big the field is - hope it is HUGE.

When online poker is regulated in 2013, maybe the field will break 1k

Gl to Chris and Brent and any other ITHers playing this year.

There are officially 897 players who entered the main event on day 1A. There are now 700 of them still in the running coming back from the dinner break.

Jason Alexander took out Vanessa Selbst with 22 v 76s and 732 flop

Pokernews reported that Day 1a is typically 17% of the field, so if that holds true this year they are projecting 5,200 entrants.

Good luck Chris and Yanks!

I remember Dwan gave an early line of about 5200-5300 shortly after black Friday. Looks like he might be pretty close.

I was going to play Day 1C but have changed to Day 1D. It fits my schedule better since my wife and daughter are getting ready to go to NYC on Monday. This way I will be free to assist them, not playing Day 2. Also after reconsideration I think the field sizes should be comparable Day 1C and 1D, so field strength will be comparable. Yanks still playing 1C tomorrow.

Yanks is at Tbl 51 in the White Section. I suspect all Pavilion Seats will eventually move to Amazon, but there might not be enough room for all of them. Anyway GL at noon on Saturday!

It might be more unbalanced than usual with Sat and Sun 1C/1D and no reason for anyone to play online Sunday!

Chris has texted that Yanks has about 28K with 15 minutes left in level 1. Yank's table is soft but aggro and it is in the corner with no one else there, so perfect for railing.

Go Yanks and Chris! Is starting stack 20k in the ME?

Yanks has a wild table with mostly soft opponents. Hopefully he can take advantage.

Yanks was down to 25K, then up to 33K, then lost a big pot to get down to 10K or so, then at the end of the Second Level, which is 4 hours in, he has 14,200. Blinds are 150/300 now. Yes, starting stack was 30K. Then at 6:50pm Vegas time they will break for 90 minutes for dinner. Then two more levels starting at 8:20pm or so. Each level is 2 hours.

There were about 100 tables in Pavilion in addition to the 100 or so in Amazon. So there must be over 2000 today, probably quite a bit more than that. They were all ten player tables and with all the late registrants..... So more than double the entrants of 1A and 1B combined I'm sure.

There was a long line for registration due to all the people trying to get into the Mega Sats to win the ME entry. I figure after dinner the line should be pretty short. Hope so. That's for 1D which I'm playing in tomorrow.
