I know you don't like playing more than one table at a time, but going through 1 step at a time will take you forever. One thing you can do is bring up 4 Step 1 tables. As soon as you get a decent hand on any table, just shove it. You'll bust out on a couple tables quick, and on a couple tables you'll have a double stack at no cost to you. So you don't really have to pay attention to more than 2 tables this way, but you'll be "starting" with a double stack size.
