Winning Poker Tournaments, Vol III

Postby hushpuckena » Sep 29 2010

Is there a projected date for publication of this?

The first two volumes were excellent, and I'm looking forward to the third!

No publication date at this time. The guys took a break during WCOOP and will get started back at it in October.

I hope this is the right place to post this.

I got the Kindle version of volume II, and content-wise I am perfectly satisfied, it's exactly what I thought it would be.
However, there is one technical problem. I am using Kindle for PC, and suit symbols are not displayed correctly. Instead of symbols I only see squares. That makes flush (draw) situations difficult to understand. I'm guessing I am missing some fonts, but I don't know which ones or if I can download them from some place.
What makes this more surprising is that I have Kindle version of ITH and suit symbols are displayed correctly.

So if anyone knows how to fix this please let me know. And I would also like to know if this will be fixed in volume III (if the problem is with the book and not my computer).

I will look into this but it might take a few days to have an answer.

Thanks, Matthew

Matthew, thanks for your help, but I just found out that the problem is solved in the latest version of Kindle which came out last week.
Other users complained about font problems to Amazon and they fixed it. Sorry for the trouble.

Excellent! Kindle is sometimes a pain in terms of publishing and not the best customer service so glad everything is OK now.

I saw this book on pre-order for release on June 1st of 2012...is this true? I don't want to pre-order the book if it's not goin to be released around this time, as I've had problems with sellers before who sell pre-order materials.

Thanks for your time.
