Matt, I need a book like this (read below):

Postby Natchez Too » Jun 15 2009

I have read a lot of poker books. All of the good and highly rated ones. Among them I think that Internet Texas Hold'em is among the best. Howerver, there is one important thing that could be done to improve the book for me:

IT IS WRITTEN FOR PL POKER.

PLEASE UPDATE THIS BOOK FOR JUST NL POKER OR DO A NEW BOOK FOR NL POKER TOURNAMENTS -- ONLINE OR LIVE.

I rate the layout, the chapter reviews and the hand questions very highly. I have trouble recommending it to NL players just because it is aimed at PL poker.

Thank you,

Natchez Too

Natchez, Thanks for the kind words. You might try Winning Poker Tournaments One Hand at a Time, which I published.

I currently don't have plans for a NL ITH.

I have Winning Poker Tournaments One Hand at a Time. I am just starting it and it, too, is excellent. However, It does not have the structure that is in Internet Texas Holdem.

I know that Internet Texas Hold'em is on a harddrive somewhere, and I think it wouldn't be that complicated to update it to a NL version. I'll buy the first 10 if that will help!

Heck, issue it as an ebook! Whatever that is?

ITH is one of the best beginner to expert books I have come across. I'd just like it to be more specific to my -- and most poker players -- needs, and be tweaked for NL live and internet play.

Thanks for listening,

Natchez Too

You originally stated that the book is for PL (Pot Limit) Holdem, but it's actually for Limit Holdem. It would not be a huge jump from PL to NL, but from limit to NL - there is just no comparison. It would be beyond "complicated", it would simply be a whole new book.
