I've been getting a lot of questions in regards to various books so I thought I would give an update on previously announced books.

Winning Poker Tournaments Volume III. This volume will have 50 hands where the three authors evaluate the same hands and I will provide a summary/synopsis of the lessons learned for each hand. We are about 5/6 of the way to completing the initial write-ups and I expect them all to be finished by the end of the month. We are close to having the final edits completed on the first 25. The final edits for the last 25 may take some time given that the authors will be at the WSOP. I expect a late summer/early Fall release.

Tournament Endgame Strategy. I haven't seen a full manuscript yet, but the author is close to completing it. Again, likely a Fall release.

AP/Ultimate Bet cheating scandal. Our goal is to get it out by November.

There are some others in the pipeline/idea phase, but likely won't be released until 2012.

Thoughts on this? I've been playing mostly SnGs online. I'm hoping some of the strategies will help me when I get into the money slots.

Pisc, I suspect you probably already know what to do in SNG's with short stacks when in the money. This book will focus primarly on when to push when first-in, when to 3-bet, and when to call. Exploitive and unexploitive strategies will be discussed. It will take out any of the guesswork and put it all in one book. Matthew

Great. I found myself on the final table in 3 of 6 MTTs in Tunica in December. With the small fields it meant needing to get into the top 5 finishes to get paid and I only made the money twice. More than once I felt like a deer in the headlights. Looking forward to it.
