Hey all,

I signed up for Trillian chat so I can get to know you all a bit better. My handle is my old AOL SN, "CheatingMC27". So how do I get a hold of the regulars on here?>

Here is a post explaining step by step how to connect Trillian to IRC and the poker channel.

I'm not very tech. savvy but I got working, but that was a long time ago. If you have problems just ask and someone should be able to help you out.

Once you set it up and connect to it, it is as easy as signing into MSN or any other chat client to join each time.

I get to "Add a new Connection" on Trillian, and there is no "IRC" option, just AOL IM, ICQ, MSN, etc etc etc.

Hmmm, I'm afraid I can't help... perhaps someone who actually knows what they are doing can chime in

Note: This is for Trillian 3.0; earlier versions were similar, if I remember correctly.

You might have to install the plugin. Click the 'Trillian' menu at the top, then select 'Trillian Preferences'. Click on the 'Plugins' Icon. IRC should be listed on the right; make sure the check box next to the plugin is checked.
