Full Tilt deal

I just want to clarify: if signing up to Full Tilt via ITH, am I correct that you can get either rakeback or the FGO?

That is correct.

Thanks.

Follow-up question: is there any type of player to whom the FGO may be more valuable than Rakeback? The only reason I can possibly think of is if the FGO is very easy to clear, and if someone played low limits and infrequently then it could be more rewarding. I suspect not, but wanted to ask just in case.

At FTP I'd think that most players are probably better off with rakeback in the long run. How long the long run is for a micro-player, I'm not sure, though. The class of player for whom the FGO works better (and this applies everywhere, really) is the one where they don't really ever expect the site their playing at to be their main site and the gifts are more valuable. In general, I'd expect this exception to apply less at a big site like FTP, since you generally wouldn't want to effectively exclude yourself from rakeback there, than at some smaller sites which you might hit only occasionally or at a site where traditional rakeback wasn't actually available, like Stars

Thanks again Ciaran. Sounds like a straight forward choice.
