Could certainly be a TV table!

I swear I read somewhere that Ludovic Lacay already busted - so this must be a different guy - but I could be wrong.

I'll ship Fatshaft $1 if he pretends he thinks Varkoni is Allen Kessler - double if it's really late and they have been playing together all day.

Good catch! This guy is Canadian and has got to be a much better draw!

I found this from last year:

Lachancing It

While the tournament was being played hand for hand, Ludovic Lachance was all in for his tournament life. The board showed :6h :ac :4c :7s, Lachance held :5d :3d for the straight, and Christopher Giannell had :7d :4d for two pair. The river was the :6s, and Lachance survived.

out, gutted. Table looked to be the best draw I'd had, made th mistake of texting my mate that I was on Varkoni's table, and he's a donk.

Anyway, had a fast start and knocked out the short stack when my AQ beat his AJ, up to around 57k

Fold a couple of orbits apart from picking up the blinds with 99utg.

Then it happens, Varkoni is BB, and there's a misdeal, he has an Ace exposed which is now the burn card. I always fold anything when there's a misdeal, just my little superstition.

But no, it's folded to me in the CO, and I have 5d7d, I make it 2500, Varkoni calls.

Flop is Ad 4s 3c, he checks, I bet 5000, he makes it 15,000, I have 39,600 left if I call. Now my thinking here is he can't have another Ace, so if I call I will push when he checks the turn, so I call.

Turn is Qd, I now have my flush draw and a double gutter, he insta bets 20,000, meaning I have to hope he can fold to 19,600 more, or I fold. All this time he's been waffling about how much h likes his hand, he really likes his hand, I don't think I can fold this hand. Really, it's that bad Robert?

I push, he takes forever, he still apparently has a great hand, so great that my bet isn't worth a snap call with those odds

After a considerable wait, he calls and tables 24 off  I actually now have three more outs with my 7, although I lose one as he has a 2, but still 17 outs eh.........

River is a 5 just to rub it in.

What the hell was I doing, but more importantly what was he doing? I am absolutely gutted, not at going out, but at how bad his hand was. If he did have an ace (which I was 100% sure he didn't) then fair enough, but the gutshot, great play Robert.
