Different rules for pros

Postby PauliF » Sep 08 2010

Two years ago I received a 3 hand penalty for saying "let's check it down".

This was when we were three handed in a WSOP shootout first round.

There was no discussion and it was blatantly not negiotable.

That same year phil helmuth got out of his well deserved penalty for no other reason that he was a well named pro

I am now watching day 1b from this year. When I played in the first 1k I got a very agrresive warning for asking "you got the flush" when heads up on the river

Annette O asks the exact same question and it is fine

We all pay the same entry. Surely the same rules must apply. It annoys me that clearly that is not the case.

It really annoys me too. Especially when PH is angling his opponents after he's folded. He often talks about how loose players are after he has folded, potentially altering the play of hands he is not involved in.
