Hi guys. Sligtl brttr draw on day2, fiddled about, won a couple, lost a couple but got downto 12k. picked up 99 an made standard 1125 raise (blinds 200/400/50), raised by SB who was chip leader, after bracing myself for 30 secs, I pushed, insta call and 99>88.

Finally after 2 & 3/4 hours of day 2, I finally see my first player eliminated, which I then comment on, I am the firs person to ae spokenat this table today pther than raise/fold/call. Friendly table

Another uneventful hour goes by, I am still around 22k, pick AhKh, one caller, same chip lead SB raises, I tank for a bit, then push, h snap calls JJ. Flop is Ace high, turn pairs board and river is an ace. Noew circa 45k.

Go t dinner the almost immediately after our table collapses, we hve two hours to play. Two hands o note, AQo that I c-bet on a miss, then chek fold to chip leader on turn. Next hand, 44, raise same 2200 (blindsnow 400/800/100) and guy next t chip leader comes along for the ride. Flop 7c 4h 2d, I c-bet again hoping he'll take a lead from the cl. He does, turn is 8c, not quite so happy now, I check, he bt 4500, I hollywood for over a minute, if I'm dead I'm dead now so raise to 15k, he dwells forever, it's a real decision, I'm hoping overpair rather than he's backed into a draw, but he's really pained and not just faking a touh fold, h reluctantly fold, but I'm up to 55k.

Moved again with about an hou left, and finally I find a sof table, but cn't take advantage, pick up KK in bb to a cut off raise, but my re-raise gts the expected fold.

We get to las fourhands and I go into 'I just want to make next day' mode. Bad mistake as I would have picked up around 20k if I'd played my button. Sam cut off raises to 3k, sb call, I hav qJo and muck, flop is Jack high, sb bet 6k, win pot and shows TT - aaaaaaarrrrrghhgghghg

Never mind, I am happy to start again monday on 55,400, table 46 in Pavilion. I hope to get a draw like my last hour, I was losing faith that there were any soft players in this event, but seems there re plenty, just not where I've been.

Foun a couple of guy from Birmingham who I didn't know were here, s now have som drinking buddies for the World Cup today (or World Chmapionship as the Wynn are calling it - why must you change veerythin needlesly?)

Internet in the Wynn is pants, so I have had problems getting online, currently using their office PC (gg me ) after I kicked off.

I will probably be wearing my ITH/fatshaft baseball cap on Monday, so tap me on shoulder if you see me.

Sadly just waved my wife and folks off at the airport but need to get back on the poker horse so gonna play the Caesars $1k today at noon.
